(1) The feeding speed should be reasonably selected according to factors such as the number of press strokes and feed length. When adjusting, throttle valve is completely closed, then throttle valve is slowly opened to the desired value. With the load, the feed rate will drop slightly, so an accurate setting should be made.

(2) The cam that controls the movement of the solenoid valve can be selected to be mounted on the disc cam structure at the end of the spindle, and it can also be used in the form of a flat cam structure installed on the side of the slider of the press.

(3) The compressed air used must be pure. Air source processing triplets (filters, pressure reducers and oil mist diffusers) should be connected in series before the intake manifold so that the compressed air entering the feeder is pure, moisture-free, stable in pressure, and contains a certain amount of oil mist to prolong The service life of moving parts and seals.

When choosing, please pay attention to the following points:

(1) The feeder of the motorized pilot valve has certain requirements for the press stroke. Generally, the press stroke is equal to or slightly less than 2 times the stroke of the pilot valve. When the press stroke is too large or too small, solenoid valve feeders should be used. When the starting position of the mobile pilot valve feeder is not ideal, an electromagnetic pilot valve feeder can also be used.

(2) Pneumatic feeders are not only suitable for the feeding of metal materials, but also suitable for the automatic feeding of non-metallic materials (paper tapes, plastics, rubber tapes, etc.) through proper selection and design.

(3) Appropriate and improved design of clamp jaws. The feeder can also be applied to automatic feeding of profiled cross-sections (such as round, triangular, etc.).

(4) Due to the different loading positions of the pusher and puller feeders and the force acting on the strips, the pusher feeders are generally used for feeding material with a good rigidity of the strips; For continuous conditions, push-feed feeders must also be used. On the contrary, because the pull-feeder is installed at the discharge end of the die, the punched material is still required for strips. In addition, for materials with poor rigidity, such as thin materials, the stability of the material is affected when the push bar is not stabilized. Pull-feed feeders should also be used.
